Whiteley Park Homes: About Us

Whiteley Park Homes: About Us

Our parks were created in 1951 and are now operated by the second and third generation of the founding family.  Jean Watson, our manager, is responsible for all three parks, which comprise Dukesmead, Brookfield and Werrington Grove. The parks are close to each other in Werrington, which is about 3 ½ miles from the Queensgate Shopping Centre in Peterborough. Our aim is to provide an attractive, happy, relaxed and safe environment.

Local village services are all within walking distance. From the park office it takes about 15 minutes to reach the post office by foot, dentist and pharmacy 10 minutes, surgery, newsagent, and general stores and hairdressers 5 minutes. Within this range there are also three restaurants and three pubs.

Most people would choose to go to supermarkets by car, bicycle or bus. Within about a four mile radius you have a choice of Tesco, Morrisons, Waitrose, Asda and Sainsburys! Buses run from the village every 20 minutes and every 40 minutes from a bus stop adjacent to the parks.

Activities available locally include bowls, swimming, crafts and rambling. There is also an ice rink and the leisure centre. The railway station is less than 4 miles away and nearby is the main hospital.

The park office is normally open between 2 and 4pm on weekdays telephone 01733 57166 and the manager mobile phone is 07768 821251.

You will be very welcome to visit the parks and talk to the manager and residents.
